How to write a forbidden romance

Forbidden love is often found in just the romance genre.

Certain types of “forbidden love” throughout history are not forbidden or taboo today so keep that in mind when writing.

The characters need to meet somehow and since their romance is forbidden, they won’t be meeting in social situations where people normally meet love interests.

Pregnancy is one way that the scandalous aspect of the relationship might be found out, even if the romance ends.
